NRIUNITY is a mission to help all Indians spread across the globe to collaborate in their professional and social affairs.

NRIUNITY shall act as the force to get more respect and recognition for overseas Indian community. I felt that in some part of the world, people are either discriminating or feeling zealous with Indians.

Achieve our right in our own mother land i.e. India as well as outside India.

In less than a year we are around 8500 members and growing very fast and hope in first year only it will cross 10,000 mark. Now it is the high time when we should start action mode and hence working to achieve our objectives. You can refer featured discussions for some of the activity in progress.

Your contribution as a volunteer (as ambassador or scout does not matter) is not only a great help to NRIs [NON RESIDENT INDIANs] group but also to entire Indian community staying in alien countries. Need not to say our togetherness in alien countries may not only help in survival but also in prosperity, and peaceful life.

I hope you will not only serve the Indian community in your city but also add some more volunteers to this community in future.

Country Specific Local Clubs, Local Volunteers, A Major Milestone

LOCAL SUBGROUPS
In order to improve networking among NRIs in a country, Local sub groups have been started. Currently these groups are for USA, UK, Singapore, UAE, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Netherlands & Qatar. We got many volunteer prepositions from small countries where we have < 50 members and hence there is one Local group for such countries it is titled as “NRIs in Small Numbers”. The title seems funny and I want to modify. Can you suggest a good title for this subgroup. Community members are invited to share local news, events, feedback about local service providers etc. Join Local subgroup for your country today!

LOCAL COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS
The long pending task of appointing ambassadors and scouts are about to complete now. The implementation methodology is changed substantially. It is as per the valuable suggestions of the community members. Unlike Ambassadors/Scouts now only one role exists which is “Volunteers”. To know about Volunteers in your region, you can check the featured discussion “Local Community Volunteers” in your country specific subgroup. Please note that appointment of volunteers for USA is pending yet. Here Volunteer-list is large and will take good amount of time. I need to undergo a minor surgery after a few hours and hence need to postpone appointment of volunteers for US till I recover the health (hopefully within 2 days). A MAJOR MILESTONE ACHIEVED
Now we are a one year old community with 10,000+ members. I take this opportunity to thanks for joining me and giving strength to this community. We are not merely an online group but want to help in real life through effective networking. Hope members are enjoying the benefits.

YOUR 2 CENTS TO THE COMMUNITY NRI
Community is grown up to good size and its effective management requires significant time and efforts. I want to employ a guy who can help me to manage it. I am not asking for any donation but adopted another way to monetize the community so that expenses can be met.
